UNWANTED ANIMALS

FIELD MICE
Field mice are small mice that spend the winter under the snow. We often find them near empty or wooded land. To reduce their presence, the last mowing of the year at the end of October or early November, should be shorter (2″). Baits are also available at the Garden Center, however their effectiveness is not guaranteed. As soon as you will see damages in the spring, raking the lawn to remove dead grass from the tunnels and the surrounding, lawn should grow back in these areas. If the damage is major you will need garden soil and seeds.

SKUNK
Skunks can dig a lawn looking for larvae of white grubs.
