Chinch bug treatment
One (1) insecticide application. Chinch bugs reside in the thatch area. As the weather warms up, adults move into open areas and begin laying eggs. The eggs hatch and the nymphs begin to suck the juices from host plants. The chinch bugs are usually very active in the summer. Turf damage from high population of these bugs will look like the symptoms of drought stress but grass won’t recover in September.
Inspect your lawn. If you see patches of damaged, torn-up or browning turf, give us a call.
A small problem is much easier and less expensive to solve than one that spreads throughout the whole lawn.
